Imported from their UK workshop, Tree Tents has been crafting award-winning, eco-conscious structures in Europe for the last 10+ years. With their USA division officially launching as of 2024, we’re excited to share their unique dwellings designed for a one-of-a-kind luxury camping experience. The Property

A Little Bit of Everything

Tucked away at the top of a rustic nine-acre property in the very heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Breathing Trees retreat makes for a luxury glamping experience surrounded by majestic redwoods, firs, madrone, and oak trees. Home of the Tree Tents, you'll be just steps away from the creeks and a hillside meadow with sweeping views of the Bonny Doon ridge line. While our on-grid cabins share the property with our home (where we have two friendly basset hounds, eight chickens, two ducks, and a rooster to greet your mornings), the sites each offer plenty of privacy. You’ll have your own private fire pit, picnic table, BBQ grill, outdoor furniture, and hammock for relaxation.

Your Hosts

Natives of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Jon and Amanda have been on a tireless quest to improve the property since they purchased the six-acre parcel with a fixer-upper as their first home back in 2010. Now a total of nine acres, their dream has been to create a magical place out of the property they love so dearly that they almost never need to leave. Having hosted, planned, and catered multiple farm-style weddings and huge gatherings over the years for friends and family, their hosting experience and attention to detail ensure our guests have an impeccable experience from top to bottom.
