Staying at the Fuselage

2 guests • 1 bed • 1 bath

Nestled among the fire-kissed Madrones atop the 9-acre mountain property, this unique glamping cabin is currently the only one of its kind in North America. Crafted by Tree Tents and imported from the UK, The Fuselage offers an elevated retreat amongst the trees, comfortably accommodating two adults. The Scandinavian-inspired interior features a wood-burning stove, a cozy seating area that transforms into a double bed, a compact refrigerator, sink, and an electric kettle for your morning tea or coffee. Full luxury bedding is available, but many choose to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows for an authentic camping experience on the cushy bed. Outside, an expansive deck connects the cabin to the Fuselage Link, where you’ll find a full private bathroom with a flushing toilet, sink, and shower, along with a private gas fire pit and BBQ cooking area.

You can park directly in front of the private cabin for easy access (4WD recommended), all while soaking in the peaceful views of the surrounding redwoods and ridge-line meadow. A short stroll will take you to a rustic log bridge over a tranquil creek, leading to the top of the hillside—an ideal spot for stargazing. Feel free to explore the rest of the property or hike through the nearby 100+ acre logging reserve. The Boulder Creek Golf and Country Club is also within walking distance, offering golf, disc golf, and dining at their bar and restaurant.

Nestled in a secluded area on a rustic 9-acre property in the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains, you’ll be surrounded by redwoods, firs, madrone, and oaks. Just steps to a hillside meadow, where you can enjoy expansive views of the ridge line. We are very lucky to have wild animals visit us frequently. This includes deer, red-tailed hawks, bobcats, fox, coyote, mountain lions, skunks, squirrels, many species of birds, opossum and raccoons. Beautiful open skies make for amazing stargazing.
